Had my hot water heater flushed. Jimmy let me know he was coming and the company also called to let know he was on his way. Jimmy was very polite and personable. He completed the job and then showed me pictures of the sediment found in my water heater and said all the pictures he took would be emailed to me. He also recommended I contact the water heater manufacturer and make sure I register for the warranty. My builder never mentioned this to me. I was pleased with his service and advise.

The technician showed up for a routine service of my new (5 year old) home's AC unit. He then told me that he found a small leak in the coil and it would cost over $500 to do a leak search. He found a leak as evidenced on a handheld monitoring device. He stated the pressures were low and it would cost $3600 to repair the coil. My unit is 5 years old. I stated that I may just replace the unit and a salesman came out at 7 pm that night and told me that I could get a good, not the best, but a good unit for 10k and he would throw in a UV light if I signed to buy at that moment. Fortunately, I did not sign. I chose to get other estimates. Another mechanic/technician came out to look at the unit and give me estimates on replacing the coil or unit, checked out my unit and stated that he could not find anything wrong with it. He stated that it needed service The Griffin technician charged me over $500 and provided an invoice that stated he serviced my AC unit and did a leak search: "Performed routine maintenance, wipe down air handler , spray evap coil , made sure coil and filter were clean , made sure drain pan was clean , sucked out drain line with shop vac and flushed with gallon of water , took temp split , checked refrigerant pressures, checked compressor and condenser fan amps, made sure capacitor was in spec, checked condenser starting amps , and washed condenser . As of right now everything is clean and working as should . Found unit a little low on refrigerant causing subcool and coil temp to be low . Let customer know Performed routine maintenance, wipe down air handler , spray evap coil , made sure coil and filter were clean , made sure drain pan was clean , sucked out drain line with shop vac and flushed with gallon of water , took temp split , checked refrigerant pressures, checked compressor and condenser fan amps, made sure capacitor was in spec, checked condenser starting amps , and washed condenser . As of right now everything is clean and working as should should do a leak search and find where leak is coming from . Customer approved. Found leak in evaporator coil unit is not under and manufacture warranty gave customer estimate to replace non warranty evaporator coil plus refrigerant. After talking with customer and letting her know that in my professional opinion due to the age, condition and the cost of repair she should consider unit replacement. " I have pictures of the unit after the Griffin service call indicating that NO service was performed. I called Griffin several times to speak to a manager. No one returned my call. I spoke with someone at the company. This person was extremely defensive and sent me pictures the Griffin technician had taken of my unit and his monitor from a "no reply" email. I was unable to forward my pictures and a manager never returned my call. The salesperson however had been trying to reach me to see if I would purchase a new unit. He called a few times. I had used this company before and thought perhaps the tech was inexperienced or getting an incentive to refer clients for new AC purchase but after this recent experience, I can only assume that these practices could be standard operations. I did not receive any refund despite evidence of a fraudulent invoice. Fortunately, I did not end up spending thousands of dollars on a new coil or new unit. I do feel "duped" and disrespected by Griffin's service. The customer service was the worst. They chose to just ignore me completely. Lesson learned! Posting this to help others avoid the same. I had to give them at least one star to post...they deserve zero stars.

These guys caused a flood in our condo. They replaced the valves under my sink, which didn't have to be replaced! Done wrong and flooded our home. Lawyers are coming guy's 26,000$ to replaced and repair everything. My time is not cheap guy's. They lied and know they did it. There employee who did the repair apologized 10 times when he came back to assess the damage. Guy's it's all on our in house video. We travel alot so we have camera's in and outside. The video to be released shortly Mr. Griffin.......

I did a better job installing the one Griffin removed. Didn't provide a bill. Didn't wipe down the floor prior to installation. Didn't install flanges around the pipes. Didn't get the mat square below the water heater. Didn't plug the drain line for the hybrid unit they removed, creating air conditioning problems. Left trash behind the water heater. Not impressed. Installation did not live up to the commercials I've been listening to. For $1632.50 installed for a knock-off Rheem, I was expecting more. So, Griffin came back to correct some of the things that I was not happy about. I still do not have a bill. They halfway tipped down the floor around the hot water heater (24"x28"). They removed the trash they left behind the water heater. I plugged the drain line for the hybrid unit, I didn't want the A/C flooding my house. They installed the flanges and some insulation around the pipes. Then, they installed a drain pan below the hot water heater even though my wife went to great lengths to let them know that we did not want a drain pan. The installer made my wife very uncomfortable about insisting that we do not want the drain pan. Let me be clear!! I don't want a drain pan under my hot water heater. If it leaks, I will know immediately, and it cannot hurt the garage floor. Employees from Griffin will not be allowed back on our property, unless I am home. It's obvious that they are not very professional, and show little respect for customer requests. I am adding pics of the things they did ringlet and wrong.
