Mason's Air Conditioning & Heat

The BEST!! These guys took a call on Saturday morning at 8:00AM, and my A/C was fixed by 12:30PM the same day! When I called back in the afternoon and spoke to the Owner because my house wasn't cooling fast enough, he said it might take a few hours. I agreed and hung up. Within 2 hours and without asking, a tech was back at my house to make sure my house was cooling well! Greatest service!

I have used Mason’s AC for several years now and only had the best service ever. Three years ago I called Mason’s for a quote on the AC unit, David worked with me to give me a great price. He installed a great product and services the unit for me. I just bought another place in April, I called Mason’s again to check the unit and to make sure I was good to go. David went that day and gave me an excellent service. His prices are reasonable and he is quick to respond. The staff is great also, when you call the office, Tammy, will help you and make the schedule work for the service calls. This is a great company and good people! I will continue to use Mason’s AC.

On one of the hottest days of the year here in Fernandina Beach, my A/C stopped working at 5 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. I called Mason and hoped for a miracle thinking they would be overwhelmed with emergencies like mine. Mason installed the HVAC system several years ago and has been servicing the unit ever since. I got the after-hours answering service, never a good sign with most companies I have dealt with in the past. Much to my surprise, I got a return call within 10 minutes. The tech was here a short time later and had the HVAC running again with a loaner fan assembly in no time. Needless to say, I appreciated the incredibly prompt service and can’t say enough good things about Mason.

Well some plus's and minuses , came out ( $140.00 service fee ) Wolf was the tech, seemed very knowledgeable and 12 years on the job thought I was in good hands. Took 5 days for the parts , plus over a weekend that livable even though house avg. 88 degrees over the 5 days. Well the man came out a young guy who seemed relatively new, I ask the questions ( at 80 I know about what to ask ) and some of the answers seem sketchy, ask about the warranty and totally wrong answer, he finished the work ( does work fine after 1st day ) and talked about payment , very fast and undecided on how to explain it . Well we ended by me butting in to stop the jibber jabber and wrote the check. I payed over 2 grand for what I found out would have been about 450 less through 3 other AC company's , lessen learned , now for the good. The AC is working, I had some unanswered questions , and to the rescue comes CASEY knowledgeable and called back each time she said she would, without her Mason's business would take a hit, I was in business almost 50 years and wished I would of had a Casey ! So tech did seemed adequate , we'll see, office tremendous, pricing verified high, but they are still a 4. Hope this helps.

Had to call them for the same issue within a span of just a few weeks. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When the issue happened yet again, I decided to call another company. Mason's techs were nice and all, but they should have done an inspection of the unit rather than only spending 10-15 minutes on site and charging for 1 full hour of work each time. They could've at least cleaned the coils and inspected the unit for that price.
